The Tempe Community Action Agency's Community Garden provides a beautiful, peaceful setting where volunteers play a key role in supporting local food access. Our garden helps grow fresh, nutritious produce that directly benefits the Food Pantry. We are seeking volunteers to assist with garden maintenance and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general garden upkeep, including planting, weeding, and watering.
- Help maintain garden beds and other areas to ensure healthy, sustainable crops.
- Participate in special projects as needed (e.g., building new garden beds, composting, etc.).
- Work as a team to ensure the garden thrives and produces quality food for the pantry.
Requirements:
- Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
- Bring water to stay hydrated during shifts.
- A love for nature and community is encouraged!
