As a Lead Volunteer, you'll take on a more active role in guiding and motivating other volunteers, helping ensure that our pantry runs smoothly and everyone has a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and Motivate Volunteers: Support, mentor, and encourage other volunteers during their shifts.
- Facilitate a Welcoming Environment: Help create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for new and returning volunteers.
- Ensure Proper Procedures: Oversee labeling, sorting, and food distribution to ensure everything is done accurately and efficiently.
- Assist Pantry Operations: Work closely with pantry staff to help keep things organized and on track.
